We are endorsed to provide medical certificates
Did you know pharmacists can issue certificates for absences from work in relation to conditions (illnesses or injuries) they are professionally qualified to assess?
A visit to the doctor is sometimes necessary, but it’s not the only way to get a medical certificate. You can save the hassle and time of getting a doctor’s appointment by heading to your nearest Calanna Whole Health Pharmacy. Our pharmacists can help by providing you a medical or carer’s certificate for minor medical conditions and they also provide expert advice, products and any necessary referrals, without the wait.
A pharmacist can issue a certificate if in their professional opinion you are unfit for your work or you need to care for a family/household member who is ill or injured. This can sometimes be an easier, quicker and more convenient option for people so keep us in mind.
Vaccinations
A few of our pharmacists in Cairns and Townsville are qualified to provide flu vaccinations. Enquire at Woree and Edmonton in Cairns and Aitkenvale in Townsville about the availability of this service and to find out about any additional vaccinations we may have available.
