Meet Pharmacist Ella 

Ella has been working in pharmacy for over eight years.
Her inspiration to work in this field started by  wanting to help people.
In particular, helping people to better understand their medications and how best to take them is an area of great interest for Ella.
She loves getting to spend time with a patient and feel like she has really made a difference for them. 
When not working at Calanna Ella hangs out with her husband and little boy, cooking and exploring new recipes. She also really enjoys attending a Mums and Bubs pilates class each week.
Her top tip for people in managing their whole health is to try and do things to manage your stress levels as that will benefit both your body and your mind.

Meet Pharmacist Melina 

Melina has been working with Calanna for over 10 years inspired to work in the industry when she worked part time during high school at the Babinda Pharmacy and I saw first hand the impact pharmacists had on a community.She is particularly passionate about customised care and providing solutions tailored to each individual and their needs. Melina loves that she can also use her experience as a mother to really understand what families need in terms of their health and lifestyle.When not working at Calanna she spends time with her family at Townsville's Strand and other parks around the area for walks. She also loves cooking and reading if she can fit it in.

Melina's top tip for maintaining good health is to look after your mind as much as you look after your body and also - Never be afraid to ask for help!
