Ah Christmas and New Year is upon us once again… Who fulfils their New Year Resolution?  Generally this time of year encompasses lots of parties, rich foods, alcohol, less sleep and hot weather.  So, why don’t we start our new year’s resolutions now – at the beginning of December, which gives us a month to prepare for the year to come?

Staying “Sun Smart” is also very important for the whole family including our beloved pets.  Wearing sunscreen, a hat, protective clothing, sunglasses and staying cool are good tips this coming summer.  Calanna Pharmacy recommends a 30+ sunscreen applied 20 minutes prior to going out into the sun and into the water.  It is important to re-apply sunscreen usually every 2 hours to prevent sunburn.  Re-hydrate your skin after sun with a good quality soothing aloe vera gel.
