Hemaview™ –looks at a single drop of your blood under the microscope. The microscopic view will be shown on a monitor so you can actually see your own living blood cells. This is an assessment of red blood cells, immune system, antioxidant reserves, liver & digestive health. Make an early morning appointment & come in before having breakfast to assess liver function.
Bio Impedance (BIO) – A tiny electrical current is transferred from your hand to your foot & gives us information on your fat & muscle mass, toxicity & fluid distribution, & also gives you a biological age – how old your body is (as opposed to your chronological age – how old you actually are!). Is most accurate if no smoking for 2 hours, no alcohol for 24 hours and no vigorous exercise during the day prior to the test.
IridologyTM – Is the study of the iris (the coloured part of the eye). Iridology is an alternative therapy that helps to reveal strengths & weaknesses in the body, structural defects & latent toxic settlements. It does not name disease, but is a tool to give us insight into the health of the body.
Urinary Indican Test – Tests for leaky gut syndrome. You need to have a protein meal the night before, no alcohol within 24hrs & no iodine or bile supplements within 3-4 days of testing for accurate results. You will need to provide a fresh urine specimen.
Blood Glucose Level – Random sample taken from finger prick. No preparation necessary.
Nutricheck® – 110 point questionnaire which gauges possible vitamin & nutrient deficiencies. We enter your answers in a computer, which gives us a graph. Red lines need addressing immediately, yellow lines are a lessor priority & green lines are good for now.
Bone Mineral Density Testing – An ultra sound measurement performed on the heel bone to asses the stage of bone degeneration & checking for possible signs of osteoporosis. This treatment in non invasive & painless
Heavy Metal Toxicity Testing – is a urinary analysis used to determine a build up of heavy metals in the body. This test is ideal for everybody and especially people working in the mining industry.
ABO Blood Grouping – takes about 5 minutes and tells us your blood group type (A, B, AB or O) which may be useful for people with dietary sensitivities.
Nail & Tongue Analysis – is an assessment tool used by practitioner to identify the state of a person’s health. Nail analysis requires investigation of the nail, looking for changes which may signify what is happening elsewhere in the body. Tongue analysis involves examination of the tongue surface, to identify the state of ones health from the colour, shape and markings that may appear.
