Thank you for being a member of Calanna Zest for Life Club.

A newspaper report on Easter Saturday was headed “Large crowds flock to Easter services despite poor economic times”. I believe it should have read “because of poor economic times.” It is innate in human beings to look for support & companionship and be more willing to give when bad times or events occur. We seem to become better people “because” of the extra support we all need. Perhaps a word to consider is MEEK.

M - Mighty (to be able to act with restraint, gentleness, patience, compassion)
E - Emotionally stable (to avoid temptations to act with bad habits & focus on others’ needs)
E - Educable – to be teachable, to be open to new ideas, to be humble.
K - Kind – to be sensitive, generous and remove coldness and selfishness from our actions and thoughts.

Who would have thought MEEK was so powerful and that without Kindness as part of our actions we are left with the M-E-E attitude. 

The challenge for May is to be MEEK & feel the vitality it brings, Mario
